Ian Brown - Vicar

Ian is the Vicar of the three church buildings in the one parish of Frindsbury with Upnor and Chattenden. On a typical Sunday morning, he leads the Services at 8am in All Saints Church, Frindsbury, 9:15am in St.Philip & St.James Church, Upnor and the 10:30am Service in All Saints.  During, the week, Ian plans for worship, leads the staff team, visits the sick and elderly, visits couples wishing to get married, baptism visits, and is currently running a course for new Christians.

Simon Heron - Curate

Simon is our new curate and has been with us since Sept 2007 when he was ordained at Rochester Cathedral. He is married to Gill Heron and has three children. Please visit Simon's blog for his anecdotes on life.

Derek King - Church Warden , Evangelist

Derek is the Church Warden and together with Alison, ensures that all the Church buildings are maintained, but Derek is much more than this. He is also a Scout Leader, loved by many children, a willing chef whenever there is a barbeque and also a trained Evangelist.

Alison Mings - Church Warden

Judith Armitt - Reader

Judith is a licensed Reader and a Honorary Lay Canon. She is married and has two girls.

Carole Morrad - Reader

Anne Maillardet - Evangelist

Anne is a trained Evangelist, a primary school teacher and mother of three children.

Gill Heron - Adventurers Leader

Gill is the Adventurers leader for All Saints Church. She leads a dedicated team of volunteers providing education, fun and games to children of ages 4 to 11 during the Sunday morning services. She is a mother of three children.

Maureen Stevens - Pathfinders Leader

Maureen is the Pathfinders leader for All Saints Church.  She is a mother of two children.

Alex and Avril Sime - Kids Church Leaders

Alex and Avril lead Kids Church.  Alex is now also the church treasurer.

Julie Brown - Creche Group Leader

Julie is married to Ian Brown (vicar) and leads the Creche at the back of the Church looking after the young ones during the Service. She works as a primary school teacher at St.Marys Island School and is a mother of three children.

Sue Jones - Parish Administrator, Evangelist

Sue is the Parish Administrator. Please contact Sue if you have an enquiry. Sue is also a trained Evangelist and an important member of the baptism  team. She also leads a Home Group and is a mother of two children.

Jackie Baldwin - Pastoral Assistant

Jackie is a licensed Pastoral Assistant training and is a key member of the Pastoral Care Team. The Vicar and the Pastoral Care Team visit those in need, who are sick or bereaved within the parish, including visiting the care homes within the parish. Eucharist is taken to church members unable to attend church and to those in care homes once a month. Jackie is a mother of two children.

Peter McAleer - All Saints Choir Master

Kim James - All Saints Junior Band Leader

Kim is a professional music teacher and a semi-professional bass player. Please contact Kim, if you would like to join the Junior band; Kijana.

Nigel Malcolm - Organist

Nigel is the organist at All Saints Church, Frindsbury. Also Nigel works with Kim James leading the youth band; Kidjana.

John Wormell - Organist

John is the organist at St Philip & St James Church, Upnor. He was awarded the title of Organist Emeritus at All Saints Church, Frindsbury on his retirement after almost 20 years as the organist there.
