Come, join us on our Journey. Drop into one
of our three Church buildings in this parish for some spiritual
refreshment.
This website aims to inform and guide you, to
give you an insight into what we believe and do, and to encourage
you to come and meet with us.
We seek to
live the life God gives to us and to be a light to Jesus Christ within our community.
No 10:30am Service at All Saints Church
this Sunday.
We can now digitally record the 10:30am services at All Saints
Church. If you would like to hear the sermons please visit our new
Audio Podcast page.
Alternatively, CD recordings of the entire service are now available
to borrow at the back of the church, please ask if you have
difficulty in finding them.

We've just returned from our Parish

Ashburnham Place. The
grounds extend to over 220 acres and the house
itself has been a centre for christian conferencing for 40 years ...
Simon Heron was officially ordained as a Deacon at
Rochester Cathedral, but afterwards he posed for the cameras. We
could say 'It's time for the Lord!'. By the way, Simon is on
the right. Follow
this
link for some captions on a similar theme.
On Good
Friday 21st March there were Crafts and Activities in the Parish
Hall, including painting, film, music, stories and lots of fun. This
was well supported...
Derek and
Jean King have started the Breakfast Club at Bishop Gundulph Church on Fridays from 8.45-10.00am. All welcome.
Another Contemporary Service of Worship (in addition to the All Age Worship on 2nd Sundays).
The service is non-eucharistic, based upon the
Service of the Word in Common Worship.
We use
contemporary words, contemporary music and service leaders wear
contemporary clothing! The Parochial
Church Council has given approval to a six month
trial for this service from January to June 2008 with a review
towards the end. Children of all ages are
welcomed in the
service and there will be a greater use of visual media (and less on
paper and print). The service is part of our regular worship
provision and follows the same themes as
explored during the other services at 10.30am. Each month, the
overall pattern remains the same: a typical 4 Sunday month: two
Sundays is Holy Communion 1st
and 3rd) and 2nd
is non-eucharistic (2nd – All Age and 4th Sunday).
We hope that this
new service will be helpful in creating another worship framework
for us all to express our praise and adoration to our Lord God.
